As the Spring Festival approaches, we gather in the auditorium to celebrate this momentous occasion, reflecting on our past achievements and looking ahead to the蓝图 of the future. This annual conference is not only a joyous gathering but also a tribute to the hard work of the past year and a hopeful vision for the boundless possibilities that lie ahead. 
Amid warm applause, Dean Wen Wei delivered an important address.
In 2024, the real estate sector has entered a severe downturn, with the entire industry hitting rock bottom. Despite our efforts to expand overseas, challenges such as language and cultural differences, working conditions, and talent shortages remain formidable obstacles. In this context, Dean Wen urges everyone: first, do everything possible to hold onto your jobs and secure stable incomes; second, tighten your belts and be mindful of spending; at the same time, maintain healthy lifestyle habits and prioritize your well-being; and finally, show care for your family and cherish the happiness of the present moment. Faced with economic hardship, venturing abroad may offer us a chance for renewal. Let us join forces, rise to the challenge, and seize new opportunities.

The annual meeting kicked off with a vibrant opening dance, “Guardian of the Flowers,” as the dancers’ lively movements ignited the audience’s enthusiasm. Following that, a series of thoughtfully prepared performances from each department took the stage, showcasing the Design Institute’s employees’ diverse talents.
Recitation of “Life” — Equipment Department
Accompanied by soothing music, they poured their heartfelt voices into vividly bringing to life the bittersweet joys and hardships of everyday existence. With each rise and fall of tone, listeners felt as though they were gazing at a miniature reflection of their own lives—sometimes resonating deeply, sometimes falling into quiet contemplation—until, in the seamless fusion of words and sound, they came to profoundly grasp the true essence of life.
Pipa Performance — Planning Department
Liu Yuyue, a newcomer to the Planning Department, took the stage to deliver a breathtaking pipa performance that sent the atmosphere into a fever pitch. With nimble fingers dancing across the strings, she executed deft plucks, strums, sweeps, and rolls, unleashing an impassioned melody. The pipa’s distinctive timbre vividly evoked the clashing of swords and galloping horses on the battlefield, capturing the heroic spirit and unyielding resolve of bygone eras. Listeners felt as though they had been transported to a war-torn landscape, fully immersed in the awe‑inspiring momentum of those who pressed forward with unwavering courage.
Song Chorus — Architecture Department
“Congratulations on your prosperity, congratulations on your brilliance…” The familiar melody rang out, and the singer of “Gong Xi Fa Cai” poured heartfelt blessings into every listener with a clear, powerful, and deeply moving voice. The song’s lively rhythm sent the atmosphere soaring, electrifying the entire venue.
Sketch — Structural Engineering Department
The skit “The Policeman and Me” was undoubtedly the highlight of the evening. With their superb acting and witty, humorous dialogue, the Design Department team brought the story to life in a delightfully entertaining way, delivering one hilarious scene after another that had the audience in stitches.
Cantonese Medley — Equipment Department
As the melody of “Season of the Wind” began to play, it felt as though a door had opened, leading straight into bygone days. Zheng Xin from the Equipment Department poured heartfelt emotion and a sense of time-worn nostalgia into the song, singing in Cantonese. His distinctive voice, set against the timeless tune, drew the audience into that era brimming with stories. Softly, everyone joined in, letting the music carry them back to those cherished moments of the past. 
Every participant in this performance, in their own unique way, has gifted us with an unparalleled feast for the senses. Their dazzling stage presence not only showcased their individual talent and charisma but also forged cherished memories we’ll treasure together. We look forward to many more extraordinary shows like this, continuing to brighten our lives! 
The annual company gala’s raffle is always eagerly anticipated. This year’s draw features a generous array of prizes—ranging from electronics and household items to travel essentials—giving every employee a chance to win. As the host announces each winner, the atmosphere grows both tense and electric. The lucky recipients step onto the stage with excitement, collecting their well-deserved prizes, their faces beaming with joy. Meanwhile, those who didn’t win offer their heartfelt congratulations, filling the room with laughter and cheer.
The raffle not only brought everyone delightful surprises but also allowed them to experience the warmth and care of the Design Institute as one big family.
Looking back on the gains and growth of the past year, we feel immensely proud.
Looking ahead, we are brimming with confidence.
