01 Background of the Collaboration
At present, the construction industry is undergoing profound transformation through digitalization. The national 14th Five-Year Plan explicitly calls for accelerating digital development.
The traditional working model of design institutes is facing numerous challenges: low cross‑team collaboration efficiency, high data‑management costs, and significant difficulties in managing the full lifecycle of complex projects. These issues cannot be overcome by any single organization alone.
To achieve our hospital’s digital transformation, we have partnered with Glodon to co-create value.

① In-depth application of BIM technology: Leveraging Guanglian Cloud’s collaborative platform, it seamlessly integrates data across the entire project lifecycle—from design and construction to operations and maintenance—overcoming collaboration challenges among teams and disciplines, thereby significantly enhancing the performance of Suzhou’s key projects.
② AI‑Driven Intelligent Design: By integrating Glodon’s AI tools, such as the Concetto design‑planning system, we enable automated generation and optimization of design proposals, thereby shortening the design cycle and enhancing innovation efficiency.
③ Empowering Digital Transformation: By organizing corporate, provincial, and national competitions, we cultivate digital talent, helping the Jiangsu Construction Institute achieve refined and intelligent upgrades.
Our goal is clear: not only to restore design to its core of innovation, but also to leverage technology to cut down on redundant work and resource waste, enabling the Suzhou Institute of Architectural Design to set a benchmark for digital transformation in urban development—both in Suzhou and across the nation.
