Company Overview
Our institute’s full name is Suzhou Construction (Group) Planning and Architectural Design Institute Co., Ltd. Established in 1994, the company originated as the Suzhou Jianwei Planning and Design Institute, which was affiliated with the Suzhou Municipal Construction Commission. It later adopted its current name and, following restructuring, has become a joint-stock private design firm. The institute currently holds National Grade-A qualifications for architectural engineering design. Over more than two decades of tireless effort and pioneering spirit by all staff, the organization has steadily expanded its scale of operations and achieved growing economic performance, emerging as a design team characterized by solid technical expertise, pragmatic design methodologies, and reliable quality assurance. It possesses the capability to undertake the full‑process management of large and medium‑sized projects under engineering consulting, PMC, and EPC models. As a comprehensive research institution, it specializes in industrial and civil architectural design, urban planning, interior decoration, landscape and greening, BIM, and engineering technical consulting and management.
Our institute comprises six functional departments: the Administration Department, the Finance Department, the Business Development Department, the Architectural Design Department, the Structural Design Department, and the MEP Design Department. In addition, we have a Chief Engineer’s Office, which assumes overall responsibility for technical matters. Our institute boasts strong technical capabilities, comprehensive expertise, and a fully integrated array of specialized disciplines. We currently employ over 160 staff members, including more than 150 engineering and technical professionals, among whom 102 are dedicated technical core personnel. Our team includes numerous nationally certified Grade‑I Registered Architects, Grade‑I Registered Structural Engineers, Registered Public Utilities Engineers, as well as a substantial number of mid‑ to senior‑level specialists. We offer specialized services in architectural structures, water supply and drainage, electrical systems, HVAC, landscape design, project budgeting, and technical consulting, forming a highly professional, technically proficient, practice‑rich, and service‑oriented design and consulting team. Furthermore, our institute is equipped with a complete suite of computer‑aided design software covering architecture, structural engineering, plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, BIM, and sponge city initiatives. Through an integrated design collaboration platform, we have established end‑to‑end online management of collaborative design, review and approval, drawing production, and document archiving.
