On November 17, 2023, the Jiangsu Provincial Survey and Design Association platform successively released the list of entities certified as “Integrity Units in the Jiangsu Province Engineering Survey and Design Industry” and the list of “Advanced Units for Quality Management in Engineering Survey and Design in Jiangsu Province,” with our institute being recognized on both lists.
General Secretary Xi Jinping emphasized: “We must strengthen support for innovation among small and medium-sized enterprises and foster more innovative companies that possess independent intellectual property rights and core competitiveness. Encouraging the ‘specialized, refined, distinctive, and innovative’ approach is, in essence, an encouragement of innovation. Leadership Address
A lucky dragon brings auspicious blessings to the doorstep. On February 2, in order to promote China’s fine traditional culture and enhance the festive spirit of the Year of the Dragon, the year-end awards ceremony was held as scheduled in the auditorium, where the College of Liberal Arts delivered an important address.
We have endured an exceptionally challenging year—facing a frosty market, intense industry competition, a precipitous price collapse, insurmountable milestones, flawless blueprints, and rigid budgetary limits. In the face of towering difficulties, we did not shy away. United in spirit, we braved hardship and refused to yield, relying on solid professional expertise and unwavering determination, and drawing strength from our collaborative teamwork to persevere and overcome every obstacle.
In the face of industry downturns and a challenging macroeconomic environment, to break the impasse, we must not only enhance our design and service quality but also continue expanding our business scope to offer end-to-end ecosystem‑wide solutions.

“Art” truly takes everyone by surprise—now it’s time for the exciting talent showcase.
The poetry recitation “Where’s the Expensive Part?” and the architectural‑housing group’s “I Love Going to Work” had everyone in stitches.
In the program, Liang Weiwei from the Planning Department performed “Red Rose,” Gao Kaicheng from the Equipment Group sang “Years of Friendship,” and Zhang Hao, Li Shuangchuan, and Ji Yun from the Structural Engineering Department joined forces to perform “Remember”… The songs were instantly familiar and easy to sing along to, and soon everyone was humming them.
In the performance, Qiu Congyi from the Architecture Department presented “Prosperous National Music,” Zhu Yunchao from the Administration Department performed “Pop!,” Lu Guodong from the Structural Engineering Institute showcased his family’s street‑dance routine “Black Notebook,” and Li Siqi from the Equipment Department took the stage with “Urgent Love Alert.” The audience was utterly captivated, their jaws dropping and drool streaming down—haha!
To close the show, Wang Ziyang, Xi Mengjie, Gu Chunhua, Guo Lili, Wang Jie, and He Yejian from the New District Branch performed “Subject Three”—the viral dance that sent the energy soaring to its peak.
Thank you to every “grown-up” who shines on the dance floor—thank you for all your hard work!
