Project Showcase
Product Description
On the morning of August 16, 2024, Xin Kong Aerospace Power Technology (Jiangsu) Co., Ltd. held a groundbreaking ceremony at its rocket engine research and development base located on Fukan Road and Xingang Avenue in Jingjiang City, Taizhou. The Wen Yuan Division of Suzhou Construction (Group) Planning & Architectural Design Institute Co., Ltd. was invited to attend the event.
Project Overview
The Aerospace Information and Control Rocket Propulsion Industrial Park—Rocket Engine R&D and Production Zone is located on the north side of Gongxinghe Road, the east side of Fukan Road, and the south side of Xinxing Road within the Economic and Technological Development Zone. The project focuses on the research, development, and production of high-thrust, reusable, commercial liquid‑propellant rocket engines, as well as photovoltaic new materials, components, and forming equipment, thereby injecting new momentum into the region’s industrial development.
The project covers an area of approximately 163,500 square meters (about 245.3 mu), with a total floor area of roughly 131,200 square meters. The master plan includes one R&D building, three ancillary service buildings, five production, assembly, and testing facilities, and six component‑manufacturing workshops, aiming to establish a high‑standard industrial park that seamlessly integrates convenient living, efficient production, and an eco‑friendly, livable environment.
Overall Layout
The park is being developed in three phases. In terms of traffic organization, the main vehicular and pedestrian access points are located along Gongxinghebei Road, while a freight‑only access point is provided on Xinxing Road.
In the Phase I design, emphasis was placed on efficient production clusters, rational workflow layouts, and swift inter‑zone coordination. Five production buildings are strategically arranged within the central site area to accommodate process‑oriented flow while ensuring a direct, streamlined freight‑handling network. The eastern side is designated for Phase II, housing component‑manufacturing facilities; the varying scales of the structures create a semi‑enclosed landscaped space. For Phase III, in response to functional requirements, service‑and‑amenity buildings and an R&D tower were positioned on the western edge of the site, completing the overall campus layout. The high‑rise R&D tower echoes the surrounding developments, drawing urban vistas into the site and further enriching the city’s spatial fabric. At the same time, as a signature landmark of the campus, it presents a compelling public face.
The independently developed rocket engine production project funded through this investment will be widely deployed across the aerospace sector, delivering exceptional stability, reliability, and efficiency in product quality. Upon completion, the project is expected to produce 300 commercial liquid‑propellant rocket engines annually, laying a solid foundation for the company to further expand its market presence.
